If product arrives damaged, customer must refuse acceptance of delivery. If accepted, customer must note with the carrier that items appear damaged. All packaging must be retained for replacement/return.
If the product arrives defective, customer must notify Cherokee Data Solutions within 20 days of invoice for a replacement and apply for an RMA by writing RMArequest@okcds.com. Please include shipping information, customer information, customer PO#, CDS invoice number and a brief description of the problem. All items must have original packaging to be returned. Most returns on defective items will not incur additional charges or shipping.
Defective replacements beyond the 20 days will be handled directly with the manufacturer under the manufacturer's warranty.
Requests for return must be in writing to Cherokee Data Solutions within 20 days of customer invoice date. If approved, you will be issued a Return Authorization. Please provide your PO# and our invoice number; the reason for request; product being requested to be returned and any serial numbers on the product; if you want a replacement or credit and if the item is in returnable condition. Products must be in unopened manufacturers box with all packaging material, all manuals, warranty cards, UPC label, and accessories with no additional markings on the package other than the return label.
Returns are based on the various policies of our manufacturers. CDS will only issue return authorizations if returns are within those policies. Example: Most software manufacturers will not accept returns, opened or unopened. If approved, you will be issued an RMA number and instructions for returning the item. Customer is responsible for shipping and any cost associated with shipping returns unless the item has been pre-approved as a DOA and returnable at our cost.
The customer is responsible for items returned as described in RMA application and within 5 days of RMA issuance. Failure to return the product within the 5 days will constitute acceptance of the item. Cherokee Data Solutions will have up to 25 days from date of RMA (20 days from receiving return) to make final determination of acceptance of return.
